Report the damage to Kuro EV and include all relevant documentation such as photos. We will advise you on the next step.

You can drive up to 200km/day without incurring extra charges. For every additional day, you will get 200km allowance. If you exceed the total allowance, you will be charged based on the car model.

For example, if your booking is for 2 days, you can drive up to 400km without incurring extra charges.

Here are few things to keep in mind before you collect the car:

  • You will need to bring your CDL (Competent Driver’s License) in order to start your trip.
  • You will be given 15 minutes from the designated start-time before you are considered a no-show. If you are unable to meet your start time, let your Host know as soon as you can. Check the cancellation policies section for more details.
  • Both Host and Guest will need to agree on the condition of the car before the trip can officially start. Be sure to take note and photograph the condition of the car to avoid any discrepancies
  • You are responsible for returning the car in the same condition in which you received it. Photos of the car are the only way to document its condition.

You need to upload a valid passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP). Please make sure the details of both documents are readable in the photos that you upload.

During the registration process, upload the picture of your:

  • Selfie with passport
  • Passport only
  • Driving license issued by home country together with your IDP.

If you’re from a non-ASEAN country, you will need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) to drive in Malaysia. For the IDP, we require that you show the front cover of the booklet and a page from the booklet that shows your picture. You can combine the photos together and upload them as one document. Alternatively, send the picture of the IDP (front cover and a page from the booklet that shows your picture) via Live Chat on the app.

If you’re from an ASEAN country, you can use your local driving license to register for an account.

For all the documents above, including in the selfie, make sure that the details on the documents are readable.
